A Day in a Year in a Life / Day 130

10/May/2015, Day 130.  Sunday.

Happy Mother's Day!!

As it turns out, that crazy Grump was up until 1:00 am (!) last night, puttering away on the computer.  (He claims he was diligently working Clickworker/UHRS for a few bucks, but I think he was actually leering at some "Big Nostril Mamas" websites.)  He finally went to bed once Sweetie started yelling at him, which is nutty.

So both Grump and Sweetie were a tired and a bit irritable today.  But we all had a good day anyway.

The day started with a breakfast of donuts bought fresh at Dunkin' Donuts.  Now how can any day that starts off with a donut breakfast be bad, huh?  After that yummy treat, we headed over to the Ocumlgee Indian Mounds, which is a park run by the National Park Service here in Macon.  Kuya got to run freely along the trails; no one can keep up with him anymore, not Sweetie, not Lola, and certainly not Grump.  Because of this is was decided that Grump could bring Kuya over to the Indian Mounds more often, just to let him run off some energy.

By the time we got back to the car all of us were exhausted, except Dodong, who had been pushed along in his stroller.  We came back home for a much appreciate rest, where everyone slept for a bit.  Everyone except for Kuya, that is, who at six years old now seems in possession of boundless amounts of energy.

After a nap Sweetie, Grump, and Kuya went shopping at the Fresh Market, an upscale grocery store where they bought lots of cool, yummy stuff, paying for it all with the beleaguered American Express credit card.  (i.e.  -  they spent money they didn't have!)  Dinner was some yummy spaghetti Sweetie cooked up.

In the evening we worked in the yard.  Lola watered plants, Sweetie pulled weeds, Grump transplated marigolds, and Kuya "helped" everyone.  Then it was time to come in, wash up, and get ready for bed.

Goodnight all!
