A Day in a Year in a Life / Day 148

28/May/2015, Day 148.  Thursday.

Gosh, it was another beautiful day here in central Georgia.  You just can't ask for better weather.

While Grump was cooped up at work, Sweetie, Lola, and the two boys went for a stroll at the Riverside Mall.  (Real name:  The Shoppes at River Crossing.  I like "Riverside Mall" much better.)  Miraculously they didn't buy anything other than a preztel for Kuya.

Dinner tonight was fried cod and rice, (a meal isn't complete without rice, correct?), after which Sweetie and Grump drove off to go to the bakery in North Macon.  Unfortunately when they got there, the bakery was closed.  So they decided to go to the cupcake store, which, once they got there, was closed for the evening too.  Drat!  No dessert tonight!

By the way ..... ever notice how difficult it is to get the correct spelling of "dessert" or "desert"?  A misplaced "s", and you could be walking across the barren sands instead of enjoying a sweet treat.

We ended the day with our standard evening song, which consists of Dodong, Kuya, Sweetie, and Grump standing around moving their arms and bodies in a way that, should you be in a charitable mood, you could call "dancing".

Goodnight all.
